Meanwhile, however, the German artillery was annihialating some parts of their line. All leaders of Carr's three posts were out of action. Lieutenant: Joseph Francis Adams was Killed in Action and Lieutenant: Norman Beade D'Arcy MC and Lieutenant: Harold Sydney Wyndham were wounded.
