INFORMATION

Charles William Antaw enlisted with the 9th Trench Mortor Battery/ 33rd Battalion AIF on the 29th of January 1916. The 9th Trench Mortor Brigade were in support of the 33rd Battalion AIF. Charles returned to Australia with the 33rd Battalion on the 31st of March 1919.

Charles Antwar's Victory Medal PTE 2027 C W ANTAW 33BN AIF, 15ct gold fob to Gnr Charles Antwar 9th T.M.Bty 1916-19 from Coonabarabran Returned Serviceman's Club with a World War 2 Victory Medalion were sold at auction from the Riverina area in New South Wales in March 2004 and are now in a collectors private collection. Photos of items and information have been recorded for battalion information.
