Died: 30th of August 1918.Killed in Action France.
Joseph Henry Carney enlisted on the 17th of January 1916 with D Company 33rd Battalion AIF and left
Sydney on board HMAT A74 "Marathon" on the 4th of May 1916. Joseph was a 31 year old Labourer from the Club
Hotel, Glen Innes, New South Wales upon enlistment.
Joseph was Killed in Action on the 30th of August 1918 in France.
Joseph is remembered with honour and is commemerated in perpetuity by the Commonweath War Graves Commission.
