Herbert Davidson enlisted with the 2nd Reinforcements, 33rd Battalion AIF on the 10th of
April 1916 and left Sydney on board HMAT A15 "Port Melbourne" on the 4th of September 1916. RTA
19th March 1918.
Herbert's British War Medal:53084 and Victory Medal:51656 to PTE 1816 H DAVIDSON. 33BN AIF were
to be auctioned in February 2008 in Queensland, Australia. His medals were acquired from a dealer
in Queensland in August 2008 and are now in the collection.
Herbert was a single 29 year old Dogman from 20 Victoria Street, Rozelle, New South Wales. His
sister Lilly Steele was his next of kin and lived at Balmain.
