David Drummond Harper enlisted with D Company 33rd Battalion on the 12th of January 1916 and was an original member of the battalion and left
Sydney on oboard HMAT A74 "Marathon" on the 4th of May 1916.
David's British War Medal is in the collection of a private collector and his Victory Medal's location is unknown A notification was placed on Medal Tracker
in 2005 to locate his Victory Medal.
David was a single 21 year old Labourer in the care of D. H. Drummond of Oakdale, New South Wales upon enlistment. His father lived at 571 Alexander Parade,
Glasgow, Scotland.
