Norman Hall Johnston enlisted with B Company, 33rd Battalion AIF on the 28th of January 1916 and was an
original member of the Battalion and embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A74 "Marathon" on the 4th May 1916. He served
with No:11 section No:7 Platoon.
