rendered nost excellent service in getting supplies forward on all occasions. During active operations this soldier recconoitred the approaches to the most
forward dumps and later guided the transports; In this work he displayed initiative and sound judgement, He has always handled his team with great skill and
resource. His work both in and out of the line has been of the highest order. By his personal example he has exerted a great influence over all his comrades.
