John McDougall enlisted with the 3rd Reinforcements, 33rd Battalion AIF on the 29th April 1916 and embarked on board
HMAT A68 "Anchises" on the 24th of August 1916. John returned to Australia on the 11th of May 1919.
John was a married 25 year old Coal Miner from Catherine Hill Bay, N.S.W. upon enlistment.
