INFORMATION

Henry Randall enlisted with the 3rd reinforcements 35th Battalion AIF. at Newcastle on the 20th of January 1916 and left Sydney on board HMAT A68 "Anchises" on the 24th of August 1916 and returned to Australia on the 11th of May 1919. Henry was a miner from Weston, New South Wales upon enlistment where he lived with his wife Mary at Fourth Street. Henry re married and lived at 54 Railway Street, Petersham, New South Wales. Henry was a member of Petersham RSL Sub Branch.

Henry was Wounded in Action Gun Shot Wound, Left Thight on the 12th of October 1917 near Passchendaele.

Henry's British War and Victory Medals T-SJT 2133 H.RANDALL 35BN AIF with his RSL badge, his patriotic fob and his bronze Prize Medal named "35th Bn Soccer Premiers, C. Company, CPL. Randall, H. France, Nov 1918. all were aquired from I S Wright in Sydney in April 2005 and are now in the collection.
